Italian food inspires strong opinions in Houston, and narrowing down the city’s best is no simple task.
When DiningOut Houston posed the question to our Facebook followers, we analyzed nearly 150 comments, which collectively mentioned 62 restaurants across Houston and the surrounding area. The responses ranged from longtime institutions and neighborhood red-sauce joints to contemporary Italian restaurants, suburban sleepers, and even a few restaurants that Houstonians are apparently still mourning.
