Wisconsin Beef Council, Boys & Girls Clubs to Provide Beef Snacks for State’s Youth

VERONA and MADISON, Wis. — Powered by purpose and fueled by beef, the Wisconsin Beef Council is launching its annual apparel fundraiser to combat youth food insecurity. Running now through the end of August, the Beef Council is selling exclusive “United By Beef” apparel, with 100% of the proceeds dedicated to providing high-quality beef snacks to kids at Boys & Girls Clubs in Wisconsin.

The initiative directly addresses the nutritional needs of Wisconsin youth during the critical out-of-school hours. To maximize the impact of the fundraising dollars, the Wisconsin Beef Council is teaming up with StoneRidge Wholesale Division, LLC out of Coloma, Wis., which is generously offering beef sticks at a discounted price.

Wisconsin Boys & Girls Clubs lead the country in youth served per population, with two-thirds of their members living outside of Madison and Milwaukee. For many of these families, access to high-quality protein can be a financial challenge…
