I-94 west leg moves into next phase with eastbound lane reduction

Now that the Wisconsin State Fair is drawing to a close, drivers on the I-94 west leg will see another major traffic change beginning Monday night as construction moves into its next phase.

WisDOT says eastbound I-94 will be reduced from three lanes to two between 70th Street and General Mitchell Boulevard. The lane reduction is expected to remain in place through later this fall while crews build permanent concrete pavement for the future eastbound lanes.
