15 arrested, 14 cited in multi-agency operation near East 21st and Baker streets

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — 15 people were arrested, 14 others were cited, and one dog was seized during a multi-agency operation addressing quality-of-life concerns near East 21st and Baker streets on August 12. A loaded gun was allegedly found and two vehicles were impounded.

The Bakersfield Police Department said on Wednesday, August 12th, 2026, officers with the Bakersfield Police Department Impact Unit, City of Bakersfield Code Enforcement, the Rapid Response Team, and the Animal Control Unit responded to the area of E 21st and Baker Street after numerous reports of quality-of-life concerns in the area.

Police said before their response, Flood Ministries went to the area and connected one person to the Brundage Lane Navigation Center…
