MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police say a woman found dead in a man’s vehicle during a traffic stop in downtown Memphis on Thursday night wasn’t killed here, and referred questions to police in Louisiana.
Memphis Police made the discovery around 7:40 p.m., when officers conducted a traffic stop at South Second Street and Pontotoc Avenue. They saw a woman inside that vehicle needed medical attention.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, and a man was detained.
