BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WALA) – A Foley man was arrested following a cyber investigation that yielded what authorities called one of the largest digital evidence seizures in Baldwin County history.
Douglas Smith, 27, faces charges after investigators executed search warrants on Thursday at his Foley residence and a vehicle in Robertsdale, according to the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office.
The BCSO said the investigation began after an electronic service provider flagged illegal material on its platform and reported the activity to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
