The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has recently identified the remains of three people, including a homicide victim who was found near a Fort Worth park 40 years ago, the agency said in a news release.
On Feb. 24, 1986, the body of a woman was found in the 1300 block of Kuroki Street east of Hillside Park. An autopsy showed the woman had been strangled. According to Star-Telegram archives, authorities determined the woman was in her late 30s or early 40s with green or hazel eyes and brown hair. In police records she’s known as “Jane Doe.”
Investigators have tried for decades to solve the mystery of the woman’s identity. Some DNA profiles were developed in the mid-2000s, but no leads emerged…
