The mayor of suburban Forest Park said an incident recorded inside his village’s police department “should not have happened.”
Video from late July shows a man, identified by the mayor as an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent, entering a restricted area of the police station. The mayor confirmed the police chief and deputy police chief made the decision to let that agent inside.
