EAST CHATHAM, NY — A California man was arrested on felony weapons charges and driving while intoxicated after troopers found him parked in a field off Interstate 90.
Lorne Christopher Thayer, 59, of LaHonda, California, was arrested Aug. 12, 2026, by troopers assigned to State Police Troop T, SP Albany and Troop K Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
