FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – A local musician has secured a downtown Fort Wayne location to host live music shows following the closure of the legendary stage at Piere’s, most recently known as Century Music Hall.
Blaze Wenglikowski, frontman of the band Sons of the Pyre, said he has reached a deal to operate out of a space on Calhoun Street. The venue will be called Grand Summit Hall.
From GoFundMe to venue operator
Wenglikowski first announced his effort to rebuild Fort Wayne’s music scene earlier this month, launching a GoFundMe campaign. Since then, he said, plans have moved quickly.
