Hamilton County emergency officials are warning residents to prepare for potentially record-setting flooding along the White River as additional rainfall moves through central Indiana.
The White River is at 22.85 feet and is expected to crest near 24 feet around 8 p.m. Aug. 14, according to a news release. Hamilton County has not experienced flooding of this magnitude since 1913, and current projections could surpass that historic record.
