The owners of a liquor store in Bellflower say they’re facing thousands of dollars in damages after their store was looted during a street takeover Saturday morning.
The incident happened at Bellflower and Somerset boulevards at around 3:30 a.m. It’s the second weekend in a row that a shop in Los Angeles County has been looted after a takeover of an intersection.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said 100 to 150 cars blocked the intersection so cars could do donuts in the street. During the takeover, the owners of A-Z Market say dozens of people smashed through their windows, trashing the counter and aisles and looting their business…
