BRADENTON, Fla. (WWSB) – A man who was critically injured in a hit-and-run crash in Bradenton has died from his injuries, according to the Bradenton Police Department.
Police say 47-year-old Jose Jimenez died Friday, Aug. 14, nearly a week after he was struck along 14th Street West near 19th Avenue on Saturday, Aug. 8.
The case initially drew attention because investigators did not know the victim’s identity.
Jimenez was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries and was unable to communicate with officers. Police said investigators were also unable to identify him through his fingerprints…
