FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — The NACS Education Foundation was founded to provide funding for resources that may not be available through public dollars. That means they have had a busy start to the school year.
“When a teacher walks into the classroom, they have a curriculum, books, like those kinds of things, and they have desks and chairs. Everything else that you see in a classroom is normally provided by a teacher, and typically out of their own pocket,” said Amber Toole, the foundation’s Executive Director.
