City workers spent hours Friday cleaning up two overgrown vacant properties on North Fairhill Street in Olney after a resident’s plea to CBS News Philadelphia finally drew attention to conditions she had reported for years.
Tracy Coley told the station she has lived between the two vacant homes for eight years. Weeds had grown six feet tall in the front and back yards. Raccoons and stray cats were darting through the brush. Complaints to the city produced no results.
