LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A Lincoln man was arrested for DUI after going over 100 mph on Saturday, according to the Lincoln Police Department.
A Lincoln police officer was traveling near 48th and O streets when they saw a Chevy Impala speeding westbound on O Street at 1:22 a.m.
According to LPD, the officer found that the vehicle was traveling at 104 mph in a 40 mph zone. LPD said before the officer was able to catch up to the vehicle, the driver, 35-year-old Mohammed Ramadan of Lincoln, lost control near 42nd and O streets.
LPD said the Impala struck the median, crossed into the opposing lanes of traffic and then struck a retaining wall. No other vehicle was hit…
