Chocolatier will return to Minnesota after more than a decade away

Amid the constant flux at Edina’s shopping centers, a chocolatier is coming back to Minnesota.

Luxury chocolate brand Bissinger’s Handcrafted Chocolatier will return to the Galleria in September, though an exact date has not yet been announced.

The new storefront will be Bissinger’s only location in Minnesota. However, it’s not the first time it’s been in the state. The company previously had a shop in the Galleria that closed in 2013.

The company traces its origins back to Paris in the 17th century, before it was moved to the U.S. in 1845 by Karl Bissinger, according to the company’s website…
