BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop early this afternoon across much of the region, bringing the potential for heavy rain, small hail and outflow winds up to 45 mph with the strongest storms.
For today, conditions are expected to be mostly sunny and hot with a high near 90, with scattered showers and thunderstorms developing after noon. Winds are expected from the east-southeast at 9 to 16 mph, becoming west-northwest in the afternoon. The chance of precipitation is 40%.
