Driver charged with driving intoxicated after fiery crash leaves 1 dead on I-495 in Fairfax County

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — A driver was charged after a fiery crash left one person dead on Interstate 495 in Fairfax County overnight.

Virginia State Police said the crash took place at around 2:20 a.m. Sunday, on I-495 northbound, just south of Braddock Road.

Troopers arrived at the scene to find a Toyota Camry on fire, and a white BMW with front-end damage.
