Storms tonight and Sunday, then heat and humidity relief

**FLOOD WATCH – Until 8 a.m. Sunday**

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A warm front will continue to move northward across the Miami Valley Saturday evening into Sunday morning. As it does, numerous showers and thunderstorms will develop in the very moist, unstable air mass. Some storms could reach severe limits with damaging winds the main threat. However, an isolated tornado can’t be ruled out. Another concern is the potential for heavy rainfall. The ground is already saturated from recent rains and it won’t take much more before flooding develops.

Additional showers and thunderstorms are likely Sunday, especially during the afternoon and evening with a strong or severe storm possible. A cold front will begin moving through around midnight with a few lingering showers into Monday morning.
