FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — Fuller Plants was full of kittens during an adoption event on Saturday.
The Huntington Humane Society collaborated with local plant shop Fuller Plants to host an adoption event for many of the kittens rescued from a hoarding situation.
Melissa Osborn, Community Engagement and Programs Manager for the Huntington Humane Society, said the kittens were named after different plants, and it just made sense to have an adoption event at a plant store.
“So a couple months ago, we went out and did some TNR work at somebody’s house, and we took 22 kittens from one property. We gave all those little babies plant names,” Melissa said. “We love Fuller Plants and this store in general, so we just asked to bring all these plant babies to their store for an adoption event, and they always say yes, so we did.”…
