A group of childhood friends from around Oakland County have been coming to the Woodward Dream Cruise for over a quarter century. They gather in a small parking lot next to 220 Cleaners on Woodward and show off their love of Ford Mustangs, everyone except one.
Brian Kaip, Jerry Spano, Tom Pawluk, Stephen Urban and Scott Murphy all grew up within three blocks of each other in Royal Oak and graduated from Kimball High School, now Royal Oak High.
Over the decades, they camped together every 4th of July and went to car cruises together and their passion for Mustangs has spanned multiple generations of their families…
