Four South Toledo streets will be closed for varying lengths of time this week, the Toledo Department of Transportation announced.
Glendale Avenue will be closed between South Glendale Avenue and Princeton Drive for about six days, starting Monday, for a mid-block Safe Routes to School crosswalk project. An eastbound detour will be posted via the Anthony Wayne Trail and Harvard Boulevard, and westbound traffic will be detoured via River Road, Sherwood Avenue, and the Trail.
Schneider Road’s westbound lane will be closed Tuesday through Thursday at Heatherdowns Boulevard, also for a school-route crosswalk project. Its detour will be to Glendale between Detroit Avenue and Byrne Road…
