BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A federal lawsuit was filed in Northern California against Roblox and Discord after a juvenile living in Jefferson Parish was the alleged victim of sexual exploitation.
According to the lawsuit, the juvenile began using Roblox at the age of 12 in 2024. The child’s mother allowed him to use the platform due to her belief in Roblox’s age-appropriate, safe platform.
About a year later, when the juvenile turned 13, an adult woman pretending to be a young girl began communicating with the minor.
