OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A local men’s parlor offered free haircuts Sunday for kids heading back to school, giving families one less expense to worry about before the school year begins.
Tina Heller, owner of Mister Hanscom, hosted the event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It was the shop’s first year offering the free cuts.
‘Look good to feel good’
Heller said the idea came from personal experience.
“I was a single struggling mother for many years, and then, you know, when you think about the school supplies, back-to-school [costs], you know, and then that’s one more expense that people don’t have the money for right now,” Heller said…
