Denver denied detainer for alleged undocumented man with charges, ICE says

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Denver division said a detainer was denied for a man previously held in the Denver County Jail on alleged DUI and hit-and-run charges.

The man, Emmanuel Roblero, is reportedly an undocumented immigrant from Guatemala, according to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

“U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Denver sent a detainer to the Denver County Jail for Emmanuel Roblero a criminal alien from Guatemala with arrests for DUI & hit and run,” U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement wrote in an X post Friday. “Denver did not honor the detainer and he is at large.”…
