HIXSON, Tenn. — Mold discovered inside Hixson High School has spread to more areas of the school’s music wing, prompting administrators to close that part of the building and move band and orchestra classes.
Principal Dr. LeAngela Rogers updated families on Friday on the situation after small amounts of mold were first discovered late last week inside a music storage room.
