MARLBOROUGH — The Marlborough Police Department recently participated in a federal task force operation with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) targeting individuals allegedly attempting to engage in illegal sexual activity with a minor.
A Marlborough Police Department officer assigned to the task force participated in the operation, which was conducted in Marlborough. The Marlborough Police Department’s patrol units also assisted task force members with the arrests and transportation of the individuals taken into custody.
During the operation, all five individuals allegedly communicated with and made arrangements to meet a person they believed to be a 14-year-old girl. All five traveled to Marlborough and were subsequently arrested…
