An accomplished Mississippi baker is preparing to make the leap from cottage to storefront. Stephanie Alford is getting ready to launch Sugar Hi Cakes’ first brick and mortar location, bringing her delicious treats to a Flowood bakery space.
Sugar Hi Cakes will be reinventing the 5490 Castlewoods Boulevard Suite C storefront that previously housed Calby’s Fine Custom Framing. Alford described her vision for the space in a recent social media post, saying “…if you know me, you already know we’re not doing basic. Think pink, gold, chandeliers, pretty details and ALL the Sugar Hi Cakes energy.”
While an opening timeline is not yet available, construction is actively underway on Sugar Hi’s new home and the bakery is rapidly taking shape. Alford is documenting the process on the company’s Facebook page, so be sure to follow along for every exciting development…
