Several years ago, I discovered delicious authentic Mexican street tacos in an unassuming restaurant in Shreveport and quickly became a fan.
Since then, Taqueria La Michoacana has remodeled the interior, added a bar, and painted the exterior a colorful bright yellow and teal.
It’s very casual, where you order at the counter and select your own seat at a booth or table. I’ve never been in the evening, but this place draws a lunch crowd. There’s usually a line to order but it moves quickly.
