VANCOVUER, WA – We’ll find out soon if Vancouver Public Schools will accept what’s known as binding conditions from the state of Washington to help them balance their budget.
The strings are serious because it would put the district under the financial oversight of the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction for at least one year, but likely two. Parents have been lining up to let the board have it due to what they see as gross mismanagement.
