You may have heard of Lily Dale. It is a small community in Chautauqua County. It is home to the Lily Dale Assembly, the oldest and largest Spiritualist community in the world. Lily Dale is about an hour and a half from Buffalo. People have lived there since 1879. They practice Spiritualism, a religion that believes that spirits of people who have died can talk to the living.
