Police: Woman hits co-worker with glass bottle at restaurant in Allapattah

MIAMI — A 29-year-old woman was behind bars on Monday after police officers accused her of hitting her co-worker in the head with a bottle in Miami’s Allapattah neighborhood, records show.

Virgen Pereirasardui got into an argument with her co-worker about “serving alcoholic beverages to customers” at about 3:40 a.m. on July 18 at Guembos, at 2055 NW 22nd Ave., according to police.

Pereirasardui “grabbed a glass alcohol bottle and hit the victim on the forehead, which caused the victim to suffer a laceration to the right side of the forehead, lose consciousness, and fall to the floor,” a Miami police officer wrote, according to an arrest report…
