Carter County and much of East Tennessee are under a severe thunderstorm watch through 10 p.m. Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
The watch includes Carter, Johnson, Sullivan, Unicoi, Washington, Greene, Hawkins and several other Tennessee counties.
