OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A former Nebraska regent and attorney with Douglas County was sentenced Monday after pleading guilty to driving under the influence while inflicting serious bodily injury.
Elizabeth O’Connor, 35, was charged last summer with DUI after prosecutors said she crashed into another person while her blood-alcohol content was .321% – more than four times the legal limit.
On Monday, she was sentenced to one year in prison, 18 months of supervised release, and her driver’s license revoked for five years.
