The Albertsons Boise Open is back at Hillcrest Country Club, bringing golf, concerts and multiple hospitality venues to Boise; while directing every ticket sold to local charities.
Fans can move between five hospitality venues spread across the course, including the Albertsons Wine Bar and Chill Zone next to the 16th green. Tournament Executive Director Jeff Sanders said the climate-controlled skybox offers indoor and outdoor seating. “It’s air-conditioned, so that’s why I go there. There’s nothing better than a glass of cold Chardonnay while I’m watching a golfer right below me make a birdie or an eagle,” Sanders said.
Behind the 16th green, the air-conditioned Michelob Ultra Fan Pavilion serves a full bar with a front-row view of the action. Sanders said every birdie or better on No. 16 triggers a limited-time discount. “The reason we go over to the Michelob Ultra Fan Pavilion is because every time there is a birdie or an eagle on sixteen, beers are discounted for 5 minutes. So, there’s a race to get your Michelob Ultra for 5 minutes because the beer goes down to a super inexpensive price,” he said…
