Storm leaves flooded streets in northeast Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Neighbors in the northeast part of town were left with flooded streets after last week’s storm.

James Zachman has lived at his house near Toiyabe and Carey for over 20 years and says this area is prone to flooding.

“Every time it rains, that corner floods and backs up. You can see the grate of the road, and I even talked to an engineer when they were out here. I said it floods bad anyways but with that grate now it all collects there,” said Zachman.
