PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A vehicle associated with two men who have been missing for nearly a year was found in Tillamook County on Friday, officials said.
Eddie Hair, 67, and Scott Smith, 68, have been missing since September 2025.
Officials say the two friends were believed to be preparing for an outdoor trip, possibly involving searching for rare rocks on the Oregon Coast or in Central Oregon.
The car was discovered by loggers in the Jones Creek Area off Hwy 6 that “appears to have driven off the road and careened down a steep hillside,” the Tillamook County Sheriff’s Office said…
