JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — A 39-year-old man was killed in a multi-vehicle crash Thursday, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency announced.
Marcus Gordon, of Birmingham, was injured when the bicycle he was riding was struck by a Chevrolet Tahoe driven by a Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office deputy at about 4:02 a.m. Gordon was then struck by a tractor-trailer. He was thrown from the bicycle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash occurred on Sweeney Hollow Road near Amy Drive Northeast. Nothing else is available as ALEA continues to investigate…
