BATON ROUGE- The future of Plank Road looks vastly different from its current state.
Recently, Councilman Darryl Hurst released his renderings for the $20 million Delmont Economic Development Project. It was just approved by the Metro Council last week. Now, we’re getting a look at how the money will be used. It will change the look of major intersection street signs and renovate the exterior of existing buildings.
“This is going to be a master project; it is the first step into making the changes that we want to see in north Baton Rouge. With job opportunities comes workforce development, education, change in household median incomes, change in our community,” Hurst said…
