‘We are incredibly grateful’: Lehigh Valley diner announces closing date

SALISBURY TWP., Pa. – A destination for meatloaf, crab cakes, chicken croquettes and other homestyle favorites is bidding farewell in Lehigh County.

Susquehanna Street Diner, offering made-from-scratch dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner, will hold its last day of operation on Sunday, Aug. 23, at 1701 E. Susquehanna St. in Salisbury Township, according to an announcement on the business’ Facebook page.

“With a heavy heart, we want to let you know that we will be closing our restaurant on August 23rd at 9 p.m.,” the announcement reads…
