SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Many drivers consider traveling up to 10 mph above the speed limit acceptable, according to a new AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety study.
Nearly half of drivers surveyed said it is safer to keep up with traffic than to follow the posted speed limit, AAA said in a news release Tuesday. Thirty percent agreed with the statement, “No one actually drives the speed limit.”
