FORT MITCHELL, Ala. (WTVM) – A local veteran whose remains had not been claimed was laid to rest Monday at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery. Army Specialist Alvin Ray Hinton died June 15.
The American Legion helped to celebrate Hinton’s life and service in the military. The organization supports veterans and military families while advocating for their rights and benefits.
