From Barbecue Pit to Authentic Mexican Eats
Dickey’s Barbecue Pit closed its doors back in September of 2024 after its parent company declared bankruptcy.
Originally, the new owners planned to open the spot at 420 Baldwin as Señor Taco. But as development went along, they decided to rebrand the concept, officially opening on August 7th as Taco Veloz.
The whole space got a major makeover, complete with colorful, hand-painted murals featuring bright hummingbirds, elegant Catrinas, and artistic nods to the family’s hometown…
