Kirk’s Critters: Winyah and Plum

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Winyah and Plum are sweet 3-month-old puppies who came to the Ingham County Animal Shelter as part of a litter of eight after they were found living in a bathroom, where they appear to have spent most of their young lives.

When they arrived, they were scared, stinky, and had no idea how to be puppies. Since then, they’ve been growing up in foster homes and learning all about doors, leashes, playing outside, treats, toys, soft beds, and being loved.

They’ve spent time around other dogs and are becoming the happy, bouncy puppies they were always meant to be.

Now Winyah and Plum are ready to find families of their very own where they can keep learning, growing, and discovering just how good life can be…
