Members of Lexington’s Cardinal Valley neighborhood to voice safety concerns

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Residents in Lexington’s Cardinal Valley neighborhood are raising concerns about issues members say are harming their community, including the number of unhoused people in the area, drug use, and other public safety concerns.

Residents will have a chance to bring those concerns directly to local leaders Tuesday evening during a community meeting at the Calvary Church of the Nazarene on Caywood Drive.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m., with Lexington Police and other local officials expected to attend.
