South Florida wildfire burns over 4,000 acres

A wildfire has burned over 4,000 acres in South Florida, according to the Florida Forest Service.

The H1 Fire, located in Palm Beach County’s Holey Land Wildlife Management Area, had burned 4,500 acres and was 75% contained as of Aug. 18 at 2:27 p.m.

Meanwhile, in Miami-Dade County, the Radio Tower Fire had burned 700 acres and was 95% contained as of Aug. 18 at 1:57 p.m., the forest service reported. The Trail Fire, which burned 25 acres, was 80% contained as of Aug. 14 at 8:05 a.m…
