HelloFresh closing large N.J. site, with 374 job layoffs planned

HelloFresh has notified New Jersey officials of plans to lay off 374 workers at its distribution center in Gloucester County, according to a filing posted with the New Jersey Department of Labor.

A spokesperson from HelloFresh said in a statement to NJ.com that it would be closing its Swedesboro facility for “operational efficiency.” The layoffs are listed as effective Nov. 17, 2026.

“We are deeply grateful for the contributions of our Swedesboro team members, and we are committed to supporting affected eligible employees through this transition with severance assistance, extended healthcare support, career transition resources, and internal transfer opportunities where available,” the statement said…
