Port of CC awards $100,000 grant to AP High School

CORPUS CHRISTI — The Port of Corpus Christi awarded $200,000 in funding through its Education Grant Program to two South Texas schools and school districts to strengthen STEM education, including $100,000 for Aransas Pass High School.

The Port Commission awarded the grants during an Aug. 18 meeting. The donation to Aransas Pass High School is intended to support initiatives designed to strengthen STEM education and workforce readiness for Coastal Bend students, according to a news release.
