WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A woman will be sentenced in November after she stabbed a man in his chest inside a Washington, D.C. apartment, leading to his death.
The United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia announced Tuesday that Vanessa Bonaparte was found guilty of voluntary manslaughter while armed in connection with the death of Dwayne Boyd.
Evidence presented in court detailed that on June 22, 2024, D.C. police officers responded to an apartment building in the 3500 block of East Capitol Street SE after an argument was heard throughout the building.
